Common Conditions We Treat:
Mobilisation
Mobilisation techniques work to restore normal movement to your injured joint. Without normal movement, recovery is almost impossible.
Strength
Improving your strength after an injury will ensure your recovery is complete. We utilise EMG (electromyography) to analyse your muscle activity and progress to recovery.
Physical Therapy
Hands-on treatment approach is taken to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved. Mobilisation, stretching and strengthening will complete your treatment.
Assessment/Diagnosis
We offer lower limb expertise to ensure an accurate diagnosis and thorough management plan is developed.
Frequently Asked Questions:

Can a podiatrist provide rehabilitation for my injury?

Yes. Postgraduate study and a certification as a sports podiatrist uniquely allows us to rehabilitate a range of lower limb injuries. As we are only treating the lower limb, we are able to better understand and manage your physical therapy with a higher level of expertise.

What is sports podiatry?

A sports podiatrist is an internationally accredited podiatrist qualified to treat sports injuries. Our practice has one of the only qualified sports podiatrists in the world at present.  We are able to treat all manner of lower limb pain, injury and offer injury prevention strategies.

Do I need a referral?

No. Seeing our podiatrists does not require a specific referral. However, on occasion you may be referred under a Chronic Disease Management plan (EPC) which you will need to provide at the time of consultation. Referral from your doctor or specialist is also needed to allow us to fully understand your needs. It is important to understand that your EPC will not cover all of your consultation costs.

How do I pay for my consultation?

Payment is required at the completion of your consultation. We provide both hicaps for your private health fund needs, and we have eftpos facilities to enable this.

I have NDIS funding, can I still make an appointment?

Yes, we have many NDIS patients of various ages and complaints, however you will need to pay for all treatments at the time of consultation and then claim back through NDIS or your plan manager as we are no longer a registered NDIS provider.
